For those who have not yet seen Chocolat, this would be one of my film tips before Christmas. To realise the effect of pouring heart and soul into the food we make for our loved ones, for our strangers, for all of our life.
And for those of you who came to class this past week, here follows the promised recipe for the chocolat you got to ingest, digest and egest:
1/2 cup raw cacao butter
1/2 cup raw coconut oil
– melt au bain marie and once melted mix in:
1/2 cup raw chocolate powder and maple syrup to taste.
Then, in an ice cube tray place the following:
A pinch of:
Chili pepers, tumeric, 2 gogi berries, 1 mullberry and whatever else makes your heart sing 🙂
Pour the melted ingredients over the above and sprinkle with salt. Place in the fridge for an hour or so and then spread it, just like this rose middle in our Northern Hemisphere winter… spread the warmth, spread the love to your hearts content! X
